Where is the Book Already? (Writing/Book Updates)

I am so happy you are here! Chances are that you are here because you are interested in my writing. Well, you have come to the right place. Let me provide a warning. My books are not for the squeamish or faint of heart; there will be gore and bloodshed. However, I like to think that I make extraordinarily magical moments in time filled with adventure, imagination, and fascination; while also suspending you through the harsh reality of the world and the monsters that hide in broad daylight through my fiction writing. With that said, I will provide you with status updates on the various sections of my site and more in-depth explanations here on this blog. These updates will also be provided in short on my social media pages, which you can find in the contact section. These topics about writing will have a side note at the title saying “Writing/Book Updates” to not be confused with the mental health postings I will be doing. While I do not have a deadline for publication yet, I will do my absolute best to work as hard as possible to get these two stories out within the year. I cannot wait until all of you can read my work. Although writing is far from easy. It can be rewarding, and it can be exhausting. Readers, supporters, and critics like you make the struggle worth it and the determination to continue strong. After all, I am just a storyteller; it is up to you what you make of it. Why Write?
- Let’s start with why I want to have a career in writing. I have written all my life, whether diaries, short stories, novellas, or novels; however, all projects were unfinished or lost with time. Writing helped me through a traumatic childhood, as it was and still is cathartic. Even with the unfinished work, I was always obsessed with writing and the tools of my craft. By tools, I mean I have several blank unlined leather journals (not for long), many calligraphy sets, and a variety of pens and pencils to create the right marks in my writing (You can see an example in the picture at the top). I frequent many supply stores for everything writing-related to keep me in stock: Thriftbooks, Amazon, 2nd and Charles, Staples, Office Depot, BAM, and B&N, and I could honestly live in these places.
- It wasn’t until I was in a Creative Writing class at age 15 that I became consumed with the craft. There is a long history of the specifics of the event, but I will only give a small glimpse of it. I could submit a short story rather than a nonfiction article for this class. This experience was exhilarating, as this is where my passion magnificently came to life. I wrote a story called “Xavianna,” the first short story I had ever written. It was a life-changing experience that I became incredibly proud of. It revealed the unbridled passion I have for writing. With this site, I will make posts on the status of where I am in my story, allowing beta readers (This could be you!) to get the chance to read my work and give you an inside look at the stars of the story.

Let’s get to the reason you came here. Updates. I am working on two projects in the Lilith Trilogy series:
- The first one I am working on is a short story that preludes this series, The Desecration of Lilith, which delves into the romance of Lilith, the Queen of Demonians, and her human lover Xavianna while also being filled with blood and gore to balance it out. Together, Xavianna and Lilith must fight to keep their newly born daughter Aria away from the King of Demonia, Lucifer, who seeks to eliminate Aria. This short story is both sardonically funny, romantic, and tragic. I recommend you start with The Desecration of Lilith, once published, before moving on to book one of the Lilith Trilogy.
- The second is The Daughter of Lilith, the first novel in the Lilith Trilogy. It follows Aria’s pursuit of her mother’s mysterious disappearance, Lilith. Aria must help her mother and protect those she loves before the Mad King, Axel, brings about the fall of humanity and destroys everyone Aria loves. One thing in her way is Axel’s secret that could ruin Aria’s plan to stop him. This novel is filled with suspense, humor, violence, romance, and tragedy.
